Call to Worship  (responsive)

        In the gathering dark,

We still our minds and wait.

As dusk calls to dawn,

        We reflect in the shadows,

Even as we look to the growing light.

Hope’s song sings through the night.

Darkness is as light when our hope is in the Lord.

Thank you for joining us in worship and reflection this evening!

Thank you also for your ongoing support of the music program at Westworth United Church. Traditionally, with this being a service of music and scripture, the Choir receives the offering and uses a portion of it for the Music Endowment fund, which helps support various aspects of the musical life of the congregation. Tonight’s offering will be equally divided between the Music Endowment fund and the General Fund of Westworth United Church.

Please join us immediately following tonight’s service in the lower hall for refreshments and conversation. Special thanks are extended to Westworth’s Fellowship Committee for hosting this reception.

The musicians at Westworth wish you a blessed and peace-filled Christmas.

Merry Christmas!

Please join us for our next Choir Event…
