If you are interested in learning about different ways that have been used across the centuries and around the world to interpret the Bible and would like to join a fall Monday night study group on this topic, please let Westworth United Church office know. We will be meeting Sept 12, 19, 26, Oct. 3 and 24. The group will explore different Bible passages through these various methods (e.g. allegory, literal reading, plain sense, historical criticism, liberation, feminist, postliberal, postcolonial). Don’t be frightened off by these academic terms—the study will be accessible to everyone interested in learning how to interpret the Bible!
